Villa Le Bec is an amazing restaurant that any serious foodie should visit at least once in their lifetime; and better to do it sooner rather than later, since it will be leaving its current premises in the first part of next year to reopen in a totally different environment in Shanghai’s Bund, the city’s beautifully futuristic central downtown area. So while Villa Le Bec as we know and love it still exists at its current address, the best course of action is to get out and get to it; and depending on where one lives, that can be by foot, bicycle (a very Shanghaiesque thing to do, though perhaps not for dinner), car or plane. But just go.
