Some might view Reims as the unofficial capital of France’s Champagne region, though I bet those living in Épernay would have a thing or two to say about that. The latter might not boast an unforgettable cathedral like the former, but it is a very pretty in its own right and has a quiet charming atmosphere that is more relaxed, and relaxing, than bustling Reims. Its food is actually pretty interesting too, and this little city has a good number of very good to excellent restaurants where to dine at. One such spot is La Cave à Champagne.
