Vietti, GD Vajra, Marchesi di Barolo, Diego Morra, Marcarini, Massolino, Luigi Oddero, Oddero, Fratelli Revello, Carlo Revello, Fratelli Alessandria, Parusso, Paolo Scavino, Viberti, Prunotto, Veglio… the outstanding wines of these and many, many more wineries, both world-famous and relatively unknown, await your perusal in this, the third and final part of my annual article on the new releases of Barolo. An admittedly very long piece, but also one that will hopefully prove at once informative and fun to read. I may well be wrong, but I think you ought to be able to find outstanding wines you’ll like, at all price points, within its electronic pages. For sure, thanks to the 2019, 2020 and 2021 vintages, all of which are better than good, there now exists an embarrassment of riches for Barolo-lovers. It may not be the best of Barolo times, but in this epoch of climate change, well…at the very least, it’s pretty good times. Enjoy!
