Restaurant Reviews: Pierluigi in Rome

Pierluigi has always been one of Rome’s most popular dining destinations with locals and tourists alike. On any given day you can find yourself sitting side by side with movie stars, rock singers, formula one drivers and the likes, and well-heeled individuals in general.

Pierluigi has always been one of Rome’s most popular dining destinations with locals and tourists alike. On any given day you can find yourself sitting side by side with movie stars, rock singers, formula one drivers and the likes, and well-heeled individuals in general. In fact, the restaurant made social media headlines recently as it was the site of aromatic tete a tete between Jeff Bezos (of Amazon fame) and his fiancé recently. On a slightly smaller scale, I’ll just add I myself organized a couple of wine and food dinners there, with attending winery owners, when I was still living in Rome back in the first decade of the 2000s.
